The hotel is situated in a prime location, surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants in the city center. The rooms, although needing a fresh coat of paint, provided easy access to the Science Museum. The temperature was a bit warm but otherwise no major issues.

The hotel had a great size room that looked very nice and had plenty of mirrors and sockets, although it was a little hot at times. The service was very nice and polite, with staff always being friendly. The location was fantastic, close to Deansgate train station and with exceptionally good food. The dining experience included a great full English breakfast but lacked some options like cereal or fruit juice.
